Welcome to De Wulf Legal, a Brussels-based business law firm specialising in Belgian and international taxation.

De Wulf Legal is the brand name of Law Firm Lievin De Wulf BV/SRL (hereafter: the Firm).

Our Firm wants to distinguish itself, not in what we do, but in how we interact with our clients and how we get things done. 

Our Firm wants to:

  • be the trusted counsellor of its clients on any legal or tax query that may arise and relates to the business, its shareholders and/or the family’s private estate;
  • guide its clients through any transaction, whether it is a sophisticated or complex transaction or not;
  • solve or any (tax) dispute that may arise; and
  • take pleasure in what we do.

Our Firm has no academic vocation, but solely wishes to serve its clients to get things done and offer them a peace of mind. 

Since tax law is not only about tax law, but encompasses various other fields of law, the Firm works closely together with other professionals where need be in order to supply a cohesive and multidisciplinary assistance. 

The Firm assists clients in Dutch, French and English.

The Firm was founded by Lievin De Wulf.

Lievin De Wulf is a member of the Brussels Bar since 1997 and has been practicing Belgian and international tax law within various firms. 

After more than 28 years of practice, of which the last 17 years as a partner in various firms (including Liedekerke and Simont Braun), Lievin has decided to found its own firm.

Lievin provides legal and tax advisory services as well as tax litigation services. 

In doing so, Lievin combines deep knowledge and broad experience that leads to business-oriented and high quality legal and tax advice, and assists clients in tax disputes.
